AUSTIN, Texas—Simpl Acoustics today introduced its first product, the Simpl A1 Headphone Amplifier for iPod (Patent Pending). The Simpl A1 is a high performance audio component designed to deliver the best possible sound from the popular digital music player.

Music lovers with high-end headphones can now enjoy audiophile-level performance from iPod. Until now, those who wished to use high-end headphones with the iPod were required to use expensive, bulky amplifiers that were not designed with the iPod in mind. Pricing and Availability
Simpl A1 will be available online from MacMall and PC Mall December 1, and in store at J&R Music and Computer World in New York City December 3 at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $149.99. Simpl A1 will be available from simpl.com in mid December.
