On May 18th 2005, The June edition of Wired Magazine hit news stands with a review of the Simpl A1, by Jon J. Eilenberg. He states "The Simpl A1 delivers refined sonic detail and punchy bass" and scored the A1 4 out of 5.

John goes on to say: "[The Simpl A1's] rubber-bumpered brackets hug the full-size iPod securely"
